The Cupid Tales

"So tell me, do you guys fight?" "A lot!" He answered. "Almost every other day." She added. "But the secret is to never go to bed angry", he chuckled.

She eyed him with a look of fury as he entered the room. "Didn't we already make up for this? I could not have possibly done anything after that!!" He was confused and petrified. "Oops, I just remembered that." her face went from angry to innocent to a wide grin, all in a split second.

The minute he left the screen, she put down the cute minion lingo that she chirped all the time. And ran back at the speed of light as she saw him coming back. Upon resuming his unfinished tale, he had a hearty laugh and decided to write about it first. PS. Her minion lingo, in case you're wondering… " tala li potatooooo... banana "

At times, she would say  I love you too  before his lips even began to form those words. As if she simply wanted to put his mind at ease, confessing that she knew what he was thinking. And he would reply, “I love you more,” touched by the connection they shared.

It became his ritual to leave little things on the steam covered mirror after the shower. Ranging from I love you to I’m mad at you to a fun sketch , the glass was their cupid tale.

"You think you have an animal equal?” “Yes, I’m a cat.” She shot. “But you hate cats.” “Yeah, we all do, except that we love ourselves!” She was snickering.

After the dust had settled for the fight they had, he was still a little annoyed and decided to not text her the following morning. And she was too busy with work to notice this. Thinking that she too might be feeling resentful, he quickly ran his fingers through the keyboard typing, "Good morning love, have a great day ahead :)"
